About DARE
The DARE program is a 10-week curriculum taught to the 5th grade students at all 6 Caldwell elementary school. The program is used to teach children about decision making, peer pressure, and dangers of alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs.
The DARE program is active in community events. Currently, the DARE program sponsors:
- Boys Night Out (for those who qualify)
- Girls Night Out (for those who qualify)
- DARE to perform
- Community sports teams
- Halloween Party at O'Connor Field house
DARE does accept community donations. Please contact Detective Hodnett if you are interested in doing so.
