As the City of Caldwell and Treasure Valley continue to grow, it is extremely important that we engage in a regional forum to discuss the many issues in order to protect our qualtiy of life. Issues such as transportation, water quality, air quality, the aquifer and smart growth, consistently require our attention and input. It is extremely important that Caldwell be involved in these discussions in order to present our ideals and goals for the citizens of our community. If we are to have an impact on these issues, it is imperative that we are at the table and involved in the decision making process that will help guide the planning process for our future. For these reasons, we as a city believe it is essential for me to represent the citizens of our community in these discussions. It has been my honor and privilege to have participated in many organzations, boards, and commissions to ensure that Caldwell's message is heard and that our desires are protected both now and in the future.
